Del Dayo Neighborhood

From SacMag.com and RegionalParks.SacCounty.net

Scenic beauty and seclusion nestle side by side in Carmichael. Located in the San Juan Unified School District, Del Dayo is affiliated with many of Sacramento’s preferred public schools. The neighborhood also is close to first-rate private schools, including Jesuit High School and St. Ignatius Parish School. Twelve miles from Downtown Sacramento, the unincorporated suburb of Carmichael is home to river-bluff estates and horse properties, as well as more modest homes.

The communitywide Fourth of July parade and fireworks show is a seasonal high point. Ancil Hoffman Park delivers years round with its 18-hole public golf course, Effie Yeaw Nature Center and American River access. Del Dayo borders the William B. Pond recreation area, one of the most well-established and popular parks along the river. This area was named after the first Regional Parks Director, William B. Pond. The Harold Richey Memorial Bridge connects this site with River Bend Park, across the American River.

Area Features:

Diverse Home & Lot Sizes  |  American River Access  |  Bike Trails  |  Wide Sidewalks  |  Great Schools
